AILET 2018 Eligibility Criteria

 AILET 2018 Eligibility Criteria required to be fulfil before applying for this exam. The notification for AILET 2018 will be released soon. NLU (National Law University) conduct AILET (All Indian Law Entrance Test) which is a National level examination to offer admission to deserving applicants in UG & PG law courses. Candidates can get admission in UG & PG law courses like B.A., LL.B. (Hons.), LL.M. and Ph.D professional courses through this entrance exam. For BA LLB (Hons): Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2 System) or Equivalent Examination with 50% marks. The candidates appearing in the 12th standard examination in March/April, 2018 can also apply

Age Limit: Below 21 years as on 01st July 2018 (23 years in case of SC/ST candidates). Foreign Nationals are exempted from AILET. Foreign Nationals to be eligible should have 65% marks in the qualifying exam

Total Seats: 80 seats, 10 seats are set aside for Foreign Nationals

Reservation: 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST and 3% for Persons with Disabilities  [One additional seat for Kashmiri Migrants; two supernumerary seats for students from J&K subject to approval of Governing Council; the candidates have to appear in the AILET and fulfill the eligibility criteria as applicable

For LLM (One year):LLB or an Equivalent Law Degree with 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/Persons with Disability); the candidates appearing in final LLB examination in April/May 2018 can also apply

Total Seats: 45+5 seats for Foreign Nationals. Foreign Nationals are exempted from AILET (No. of seats may vary)

Reservation: 15% for SC candidates, 7.5% for ST candidates, 3% for Persons with Disabilities

For PhD: LLM Degree with 55% marks or its equivalent (50% in case of SC/ST/Persons with Disability).
