JEE Advanced 2018 - Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is a national level entrance test which is conducted in two tiers namely (i) JEE Main (ii) JEE Advanced. JEE Advanced 2018 Eligibility Criteria

1) Candidates who wish to appear for JEE Advanced 2018 should be in top 2, 20, 000 which includes all categories in Paper – I of JEE Main 2018.

2) Candidate should be Indian Nationality or PIO or OCI.

3) Maximum no. of attempts for JEE Advanced is only two times in consecutive years.

4) Candidates who have passed or appearing their Class XII Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination with five subjects in 2017 or 2018.

5) Candidate must atleast obtain 75% marks in inter exams. For reserved categories it is relaxed to 65% marks.

6) Candidate should NOT have been admitted in an IIT institution.

7) Date of birth of the candidate should be on or after October 01, 1993. For SC/ST/PwD candidates, it is October 01, 1988.

JEE Advanced 2018 Examination Pattern

Paper-I & II: Compulsory for all

i) The duration of the test is for 3 Hours

ii) The exam is going to be held in both Online and Offline

iii) There are 3 sections for each subject consisting of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

iv) Marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

v) Medium of Question paper will be Hindi or English.

Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT): For Architecture students only.

i) The AAT test will be for 3 Hours

ii) This test is only conducted in Pen & Paper based.

iii) The test is comprised of subjects Mathematics, Aptitude and Drawing.

iv) Marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

v) Medium of Question paper will be Hindi or English.

JEE Advanced 2018 Examination Schedule

1) JEE Advanced 2018 entrance exam is expected to be scheduled on 3rd week of May 2018 in two sessions (i) 09:00 AM to 12:00 Noon (ii) 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM.

2) Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2018 is expected to be scheduled on 2nd week of June 2018

JEE Advanced 2018 Application Form

1) Candidates must apply for JEE Advanced 2018 only through Online. There is no printed copy available.

2) Applications are expected to be released in the Last week of April 2018. The applications for AAT 2018 are expected in 2nd week of June 2018

3) Aadhaar Number or Aadhaar Enrolment Number or Registration Number provided by Aadhaar Facilitation Center is mandatory to apply for JEE Main 2018.

4) Candidates should upload the scanned images of their photograph and signature along with their personal & academic details.

5) Candidates can download the acknowledgement page as the proof of successful submission of application form.

JEE Advanced 2018 Syllabus

The JEE Advanced 2018 syllabus is comprised of the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. For Architecture (B.Arch) students the subjects are Mathematics, Aptitude and Drawing.

JEE Advanced 2018 Admit Card

JEE Advanced 2018 Admit Cards are expected to be available from 2nd week of May 2018. Provide the required details like roll number/application number, DOB etc to download the hall ticket.

JEE Advanced 2018 Answer Key

1) JEE Advanced 2018 Answer Key and images of OMR sheets are expected to release by 1st week of June 2018.

2) Candidates can check their answers and can raise objections on the answer key released.

JEE Advanced 2018 Results & Score Card

1) The score and rank JEE Advanced 2018 for all candidates will be declared by 2nd week of June 2018.

2) AAT results will be declared by 3rd week of June 2018.

3) The rank given will be All India Rank which is considered for admission to IITs and ISMs.

JEE Advanced 2018 Counselling

1) Counselling is in the hands of Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). They conduct the centralized counselling to get admissions for IITs, NITs, IIITs, CFTIs.

2) According to the rank obtained and merit list candidates will be called for the counselling procedure.

3) For colleges in State level, candidates have to participate in separate state counselling.

Ans. NO. You will get question paper only in one language either Hindi or English.

Ans. Yes. Both papers are compulsory.

Ans. Your login is JEE Main roll number and password is same as that used for JEE Main.

Ans. NO. Registration fee payment can be done through net banking, debit card and SBI Challan only.

Q7. During JEE Main 2018 Registration I have declared my category wrongly. Can I correct it during JEE Advanced Registration?

Ans. NO. Category declared during JEE Main 2018 Registration cannot be changed.

Q8. I have appeared in JEE Main Paper-II. Am I eligible for Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) without writing JEE Advanced 2018?

Ans. NO. Only the candidates who qualify in JEE Advanced 2018 are eligible for AAT 2018.

Q9. If I do not submit the OBC-NCL certificate by 5th June, can I submit it at the time of reporting?

Ans. NO. Since your declared result is based on the category. If you do not submit certificate by 5th June 2017 your result will be based on general category.

Q10. I have accepted a seat through JoSAA 2018. Am I eligible for JEE Advanced 2018?

Ans. If you have accepted seat in IITs then you are not eligible for JEE Advanced 2018.

Q11. I have taken admission in one of the IITs for preparatory course/NITs(2016). Am I eligible for JEE Advanced 2018.
