GPAT: GPAT 2017 is a national level entrance examination conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The GPAT entrance exam is also known as the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test for Pharmacy graduates who wish to get admission into the Master’s (M.Pharm) program. GPAT is a three hour computer based online test which is conducted in a single session. The GPAT score is accepted by all AICTE-Approved Institutions/University Departments/Constituent Colleges/Affiliated Colleges. A few scholarships and other financial assistance in the field of Pharmacy are also given on the basis of the GPAT 2017 score. The GPAT 2017 will be conducted on 28th January 2017. The GPAT 2017 exam score/rank card is valid for one year from the date of announcement of result for admission in PG programme. The GPAT 2017 score card/rank is also valid for one year for the purpose of obtaining scholarships in M. Pharmacy course. After completing M. Pharm Degree if someone is interested in getting registered for Ph.D. degree and availing National Doctoral Scholarship the validity of the GPAT scorecard shall be three years.

GPAT 2017 Application Form:
Candidates can apply for GPAT only on online but the GPAT examination is Paper-pencil based. The exam duration is 3 hours with a single paper consisting of 150 questions. Each correct answer is awarded three marks where as each wrong answer will result in deduction of one mark from your total score. No attempts, no score.

GPAT 2017 Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates with Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2, including lateral entry candidates) and students who are in their final year of B. Pharmacy course are eligible for appearing in GPAT exam.

The GPAT 2017 participating institutes accept GPAT 2017 rank to provide admissions to Pharmacy graduates into PG programmes of pharmacy. Candidates can check the list of the participating institutes in the respective States in official website.

GPAT 2017 Exam Centres:
The GPAT 2017 exam conducting authority releases the list of exam centres in its notification. It announces 58 exam centres of GPAT 2017 at various cities in India for the candidates, who will appear in the entrance exam at these vanues on the exam day. GPAT 2017 Exam Pattern:
GPAT 2017 exam is a computer based test with 3 hours duration. A total of 125 multiple choice questions will be asked in the exam. For each correct answer, the candidate will be awarded 4 marks and for each wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted as negative marking applies.
