SNAP 2023 - Symbiosis National Aptitude Test is a university-level test conducted by Symbiosis International University for admissions into the MBA programs offered by the University and its institutes. Candidates have to register to appear in the SNAP test and register for institutes based on his/her choice of program and institute. The candidates who are shortlisted have to attend the GE-PIWAT which is conducted individually by each one of the institutes.

SNAP 2023 Notification: 

SNAP 2023 exam Notification is released. The SNAP 2023 application process starts on 4th August 2023 and closes on 24th November 2023. SNAP 2023 Exam is scheduled to be conducted on 10th December 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

SNAP 2023 Application Form:

SNAP 2023 application process starts on 4th August 2023. The application process closes on 24th November 2023 by 5:00 PM. Any changes in the application form (except the name, date of birth, category and test city preferences) will be allowed only up to the closing date of registration, i,e, up to 27th November 2023. No changes will be allowed after the closing date.

 

How to Apply:

1) Candidates have to visit the official website and register online by providing the required details.

2) Fill the application form with personal and academic details.

3) Select the program and institute for which the candidate is applying.

4) Upload the scanned images of the photograph and signature.

5) Submit the application form and pay the fee in the above-mentioned modes before 27th November 2023.

6) Send the signed DD advice form and DD (or) signed Symbiosis Challan copy to the below address:

7) Any changes in the application form will be allowed only up to the closing date of registration. No changes will be allowed after the closing date.

Mode of Payment:

Test Fee: The test fee is Rs 1950 /- and is non-refundable.

Online Payment: Credit Card / Net Banking

 The Candidate may pay the registration fee through:

  3. Indian Bank Payment Gateway
  4. Demand Draft.

Demand Draft: Obtain a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 1750/- from any Nationalized Bank in favor of the "Symbiosis Test Secretariat" payable at Pune. Select Demand Draft Payment option in “Make Payment” tab and print DD advice form and fill the details of DD.

SNAP 2023 Eligibility:

1) Candidates should be of Indian Nationality.

2) Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), Persons of Indian Origin (PIO), Foreign National (FN), and Non-Resident Indian (NRI) candidates are also eligible.

3) Candidate must complete their graduation from any of the statutory or recognized universities or institutes.

4) Candidates must secure at least 50% of marks for general and 45% of marks for SC/ST.

5) Every program or programme eligibility varies according to the rules and regulation of the institute.

6) For Any candidate who obtained a degree from Foreign University, documents must be verified from Association of the Indian Universities (AIU) and get the equivalence certificate before joining in any of the institutes.

 

SNAP 2023 Exam Pattern:                                                     Duration: 120 minutes

1) Mode: Computer-based test

2) Duration: The exam is for 120 minutes.

3) There are a total of 150 questions. Each question carries 1 mark.

4) The question paper is for 150 marks.

5) All questions are objective-type questions.

6) Negative marking: For every wrong answer, 0.25 marks are deducted.

7) Candidate must use Blue or Black ballpoint pen only.

SNAP 2023 Syllabus:

SNAP 2023 syllabus will be like any other MBA Entrance exam syllabus. If a candidate is prepared for any national-level MBA entrance exams like CAT, XAT, MAT or NMAT, then that preparation suffices for SNAP 2023. SNAP 2023 Syllabus consists of the following topics.

SNAP 2023 Admit Cards:

Candidates must download the SNAP 2023 Test Admit Card from the SNAP official website. Admit cards will be made available from 4th December 2023 tentatively. Admit Card along with Photo Identity proof should be carried to the Test Centre at the time of the test. Candidate must paste the latest passport size, coloured photograph on the Admit Card at the place provided for before appearing for the test. Candidates should note that admit cards will not be sent in post or mail.

SNAP 2023 Results 

SNAP 2023 Results are expected to be released on 10th January 2024. Candidates can check the SNAP official website for results. The scorecard will be made available after the declaration of results. Candidates should note that scorecards will not be sent by post or mail.

 

SNAP 2023 Counselling Procedure:

GE-PIWAT: Group Exercise, Personal Interaction and Writing Ability Test

1) Shortlisting for GE-PIWAT: Candidates will be shortlisted for GE-PIWAT based on their overall SNAP Percentile. Please check the respective institute website for information and dates of GE-PIWAT.

2) Merit List: Merit List will be based on the following parameters:

3) Category-wise cut-off for the Merit List and Wait List will be displayed on the website of the respective institute.

4) It is mandatory to attend all components/tests of GE-PIWAT to be eligible for admission to any PG programmes.

5) Only candidates who attend all components/tests of the selection process (GE-PIWAT) shall be considered as eligible for the generation of merit /wait/reject list.

6) Candidates who remain absent for any one of the components/tests will be considered ineligible for the selection process of any of the PG degree programmes of SIU.

 

SNAP 2023 General Instructions;

1) Candidates are required to report at the Test Centre before an hour for complete verification and other formalities.

2) The latest coloured passport-size photograph should be pasted on the Admit Card at the place provided.

3) Candidates must bring the following along with them:

a) Admit Card

b) Photo identity: Passport, Driving license, College/Institute Identity Card, Credit card with photograph, Voter ID Card, PAN card, AADHAR Card (UID).

c) Blue/Black ballpoint pen

4) Cell phones, calculators, watch calculators, alarm clocks, digital watches with built-in calculators/ memory or any electronic gadgets will not be allowed in the examination hall.

5) An authorized person from Symbiosis International University will verify and authenticate your Admit Card against the photo ID on the day of the test. Please preserve this authenticated Admit Card for further GE-PIWAT processes.

6) Candidates should note that an authenticated Admit Card is an important document without which the candidate will not be permitted to appear for further selection processes of SIU.

7) If the admit card is lost, a duplicate Admit Card will not be issued. It should be retained till the admission process is over.

8) The Test Booklet will be distributed just before the starting time of the Test. The candidate must ensure that the booklet is sealed. If the seal is found broken or tampered with, please bring this matter to the notice of the invigilator immediately.

9) Check immediately that all the pages of the booklet are in order. In the rare event of the Test Booklet being defective, bring it to the notice of the invigilator immediately who will arrange for the replacement of the Test Booklet if required.

10) The candidate will not be allowed to leave the hall till the test is over and until the Invigilator has collected the answer OMR sheet and Question Booklet.
