TJEE 2018 Application Form

The application form of TJEE 2018 will be available in the first week of January 2018 in online mode, however the online application form has to be downloaded and submitted offline in person at the Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination. Along with the application form, the candidates have to also submit the examination fee receipt issued by the State Bank of India and other educational documents. Candidates can also obtain the application from office counter of TBJEE or from the colleges below.

Application Fee payment of Rs. 100 – It can be either paid in cash or through postal order only

Online - Online fee for TJEE 2018 can be paid through net banking or credit card/debit card

Offline - For offline payment, the fees can be paid through Bank challan at any branch of State Bank of India.

Documents to be submitted with Tripura JEE 2018 Application Form

  • Age Proof - Admit card of class X or equivalent/School Leaving Certificate/Birth Certificate
  • Admit card/Enrolment Certificate of class XII or equivalent examination/Certificate from the concerned institution as a proof of appearing in 12th or equivalent exam
  • Mark sheets of class X and XII or equivalent exam (if already passed)
  • Certificate of caste (SC/ST) from the competent authority
  • PRTC from the appropriate authority of the applicant or his/her parents
  • Certificate regarding the period of stay of Candidate/Father/Mother for not less than five years in case of wards of Ex-Serviceman/Serving Defence Personnel, issued by the competent authority (2 photocopies).
  • Physically Handicapped (PH) certificate issued by the competent authority (2 photocopies)
  • Certificate showing the proof of Ex-Serviceman/Serving Defence Personnel, issued by the appropriate authority (2 photocopies)
  • Three Passport size photographs of the applicant to be affixed and signed on these in appropriate spaces of the application form
  • Copy of seat surrendered certificate (if applicable)
  • Self-addressed envelope (30cm by 13cm) with postal stamp of Rs. 5 affixed on it
  • Copy of e-Challan (Board's part) with Banker's stamp
  • Copy of BPL card/Ad hoc BPL certificate from the appropriate authority (if applicable)

TJEE 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Tripura JEE 2018 eligibility criteria include conditions required to be fulfilled which are related to age, educational background, qualifying exam, qualifying marks, state eligibility, etc.

  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination should have been qualified with the minimum required marks.
  • Candidates must be Indian nationals and permanent citizens of Tripura state. Permanent resident candidates or their parents must be residing in Tripura for the past ten years immediately before the date on which candidate applies for the test.
  • Candidates who are children of All India Services Officers born in Manipur- Tripura Cadre and candidates who are children of the Employees of the State Government posted outside Tripura are also eligible irrespective of their prior stay in Tripura.
  • Candidates who are children of state and the central government employees are also eligible.

TJEE 2018 Exam Pattern

The exam pattern of TJEE 2018 is determined and shared by TBJEE for candidates who aspire to take the state level engineering entrance test. TJEE 2018 exam pattern includes the details about the total time allotted to take the test, total number of questions and marks allotted, marking scheme, mode of the test, sections from where the questions will come, type and nature of the questions, etc.

TJEE 2018 Syllabus

TBJEE decides and shares the syllabus of TJEE 2018 for aspiring candidates who wish to sit for TJEE 2018 for admission to B.Tech programmes across the participating institutes. The syllabus of TJEE 2018 includes important topics and chapters from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from where question in the TJEE paper 2018 will come. Candidates are advised to go through the TJEE syllabus 2018 carefully to know what all to study and then they can plan their preparation accordingly.

TJEE 2018 Admit Card

The admit card of TJEE 2018 will be available in the last week of March 2018 for all the registered candidates. TJEE 2018 admit card will be dispatched for the registered candidates through India Post (Agartala Head P.O.) Tripura.

Procedure to download TJEE 2018 Admit Card

  • During the application form filling, candidates should paste their recent colour, passport size photograph on the provisional admit card. They must sign across the photograph by ink pen.
  • Avoid signature across the face of the candidate on the photograph.
  • In the space available, mention your name & surname in capital letters.
  • Mention your Father’s full name in the space provided
  • Also, send a self-addressed envelope (30 cm by 13 cm) which must be affixed with a Rs. 5 postage stamp to the university. This envelope will be dispatched to the candidates with their admit card of TJEE 2018.

TJEE 2018 Result

Tripura Board of Entrance Examination will declare the result of TJEE 2018 in online mode tentatively in the first week of June 2018. Tripura JEE result 2018 will be announced only for those candidates who have appeared in the state level entrance test. Candidates can check TJEE 2018 result by entering their registered Enrolment number.

TJEE 2018 Counselling

The counselling and seat allotment of TJEE 2018 will be conducted by Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination in the first week of July 2018. The counselling and seat allotment of TJEE 2018 will be conducted offline wherein the candidates are required to report at Matangini Pritilata Sabha Griha, Women's College, Agartala as per their ranks. Tripura JEE 2018 counselling will be conducted as per candidates merit ranks wherein they will be invited to participate in the counselling on different time and date at the venue as per their ranks. Candidates will require to carry the following list of documents to the counselling venue.

  • Permanent residence of Tripura Certificate (PRTC)
  • Admit Card of TJEE 2017
  • Category Certificate (Applicable if candidate belongs to reserved category)

TJEE Cutoff 2018

TBJEE will declare TJEE 2018 cutoff for before the starting of the counselling. The cutoff of TJEE 2018 is the rank which the candidates must secure in order to be considered eligible for B.Tech admissions. Candidates having a rank lower than the cutoff rank of TJEE 2018 will not be considered for admissions. The board does not release any cutoff for TJEE 2018, however, if it does, then we will provide the cutoff of Tripura JEE here.
