NCHMCT JEE 2018 Counselling Process

NCHMCT 2018 counselling procedure will commence from the 4th week of May 2018 or 1st week of June 2018. No call letter will be sent to applicants individually. Admission will be done on the basis of merit list i.e. the marks acquired in NCHMCT JEE 2018.

There will be 3 rounds of counselling. Counselling involves verification of documents like eligibility criteria, depositing fee etc. After NCHMCT JEE result declaration, applicants can apply for the counselling/admission process. Applicant need to deposit INR 1000 as the counselling fee. Seat reservation is specified to SC/ST category candidates only.

 

Procedure for counselling:

Register online on the official website, www.nchm.nic.in. The following steps are to be followed for successful counselling:

  • Mark choices and lock them
  • After locking the choices, applicants will be called for 1st round of seat allotment.
  • Seats that will remain empty after 1st round of allotment will be accessible to new allotters.
  • Choices will be changed before the beginning of 2nd round of seat allotment, if needed.
  • After second round of allotment of seats, applicants will have to register themselves again for spot round of counselling
  • After successful online registration a minimal amount has to be paid as fee for Spot Round of Counselling.
  • Next step will be to make choices for spot round after which seats will be allotted under this category.
  • Candidates will have to report at the reporting center for authentication of original documents based on which applicant will be sent to the institute allotted.

Documents Required for Counselling

  • All mark sheets/grade reports and certificates, Original of Class X and XII, Transfer Certificate, Leaving Certificate and Character Certificate from School.
  • In case candidate belongs to SC, ST or non-creamy layer of OBC categories, Original caste Certificate as per Central Govt. is required.
  • Medical Certificate should be presented if candidate is Physically Challenged (PC). It should be issued by Medical Officer of any Government Hospital with description of the kind and the degree of disability.
  • In case the Date of Birth is not mentioned in Class X Certificate, Date of Birth (DOB) Certificate is required for the same.
  • Original e- Admit Card, counselling letter should also be present with candidate.
  • Three recent and clear passport size colored photographs need to be submitted. They should have candidates name and date mentioned at the back.
  • Domicile certificate.
