AP LPCET 2017 Andhra Pradesh Language Pandit Common Entrance Test (AP LPCET) is a common entrance exam conducted by School Education Department, Govt. Of Andhra Pradesh for admissions in government IASE/CTE’s and private language training colleges for one year Language Pandit Training courses(TPT/HPT) in all 13 districts of the state.

AP LPCET 2017 Eligibility Criteria:

1) Candidate should be of Indian Nationality.

2) Candidate should satisfy the status of local and non-local as per the requirement laid down in AP Educational Institutions Order 1974 Regulation of Admission.

3) Candidates should complete 19 years of age. No upper age limit.

4) Candidate should hold a degree with Telugu or Hindi Languages as subject

AP LPCET 2017 Exam Pattern:                                          Duration: 2 Hours

1) Mode: Computer based test

2)  Type: Completely objective type i.e. multiple choice questions

3) Duration: 2 Hours

4) Subjects: Current Affairs, Numerical Ability, Language, Literature.

5) Question Paper will be comprised of a total of 100 questions.

6) Total Marks: 100 marks

7) Each question carries 1 mark.

AP LPCET 2017 Exam Schedule:

AP LPCET 2017 entrance exam is expected to be held on 3rd week of July 2017 (Sunday) tentatively. On the release of official notification, the exam schedule will be updated.

AP LPCET 2017 Application Form:

Application Fee: Rs 500 /-

Fee can be paid through the payment gateway (online).

AP LPCET 2017 Applications will be received through online only. AP LPCET 2017 Application form will be available from 1st week of July 2017 tentatively.

How to Apply Online:

1) Visit the official website and pay the application fee through payment gateway.

2) Click on “Application Form” and enter the details of fee payment.

3) Proceed to Application form and fill the personal and academic details.

4) Upload the photograph and signature.

5) Submit the application and take a printout for future reference.

AP LPCET 2017 Syllabus:

AP LPCET 2017 syllabus will be comprised of subjects

a) Numerical Ability,

b) Language,

c) Literature,

d) Current Affairs.

Numerical Ability:

Four fundamental operations (Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication & Division) and Averages.

Language:

Telugu Pandit: 1st Language of 8th to 10th classes of AP State Syllabus

Hindi Pandit: 2nd Language of 8th to 10th classes of AP State Syllabus

Literature: Graduate Degree Standard

AP LPCET 2017 Hall Tickets:

Candidate can download the hall tickets from the official website of AP LPCET 2017. Hall tickets will be issued from 3rd week of July 2017 tentatively. Hall tickets will contain information regarding candidate and test date, time and venue.

AP LPCET 2017 Qualifying Marks:

Qualifying marks in the entrance test for 35% of the aggregate marks for general category candidates. There shall be no minimum qualifying marks for SC/ST category candidates.

AP LPCET 2017 Results & Rank Card:

Candidate can get the AP LPCET 2017 results from the official website of AP LPCET 2017. Results will be announced on 3rd week of July 2017 tentatively. Rank card will be made available in the official website on the day of result announcement.

AP LPCET 2017 Counselling:

The counselling procedure for AP LPCET 2017 starts from 4th week of July 2017 tentatively. A prescribed fee (Rs 60 /-) must be paid for web options. Counselling procedure will consist of submission of web options by candidates, allotment of seats to candidates, issue of provisional letters for admission, verification of certificates at DIETs and issue of final submission letter.

AP LPCET 2017 General Instructions:

1) AP LPCET 2017 application forms will be received only through online.

2) In case of any clarifications before, during or after submission of application online the candidates may contact the Help Desk at Telephone Numbers

3) Fee once remitted shall not be refunded under any circumstances.

4) No corrections will be entertained after submission of online application.

5) Furnishing of false, wrong or inaccurate information leads to cancellation of the test result and even prosecution in appropriate cases.

6) No request for re-checking, re-assessment, re-evaluation or scrutiny of answer-sheets will be entertained.

7) All disputes pertaining to the conduct of LPCET shall be subject to jurisdiction of A.P. High Court only.

8) AP LPCET 2017 is conducted as online exam i.e. Computer based test.

9) Guidelines for appearing online exam of AP LPCET 2017 will be kept in website in due course for awareness of candidates.

10) No materials, books, electronic gadgets will be allowed inside examination hall.

11) No candidate will be allowed inside exam hall without Hall Ticket.

12) After the commencement of exam, no candidate will be allowed in exam centre.

13)  If the no of candidates is less than 200 in a particular district the centre may be merged in neighbouring district.
