The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) conducts the Chartered Accountant - Common Proficiency Test (CA CPT) for candidates who wish to pursue a career in Chartered Accountancy. CA CPT is an entry-level qualification test held twice a year- once in June and once in December. Candidates who will qualify CPT exam will be enrolled to the IPCC (Intermediate Professional Competence Course) which would train them for the next level of the Chartered Accountancy course. • Candidates Visit the official website of ICAI and register as new users.
• Fill up the registration details and click on the “Register” button.
• After registration, click on the “Apply Now” button and fill in the education details.

CA CPT 2024 Eligibility

• Candidates who have completed the 10+2 examination or equivalent can appear for CPT and register for the professional course.789
• There is no age limit to be eligible for CPT.
• Candidates who are already registered for the professional course with ICAI are eligible to appear for CPT.
• Commerce graduates 55% and other graduates 60% can directly appear for IPCC.
• Candidates who have completed their bachelor's degree in an Open University, those candidates are exempted from the Entrance exam
• CPT is exempted for Graduates, Post Graduates, and students having equivalent degrees.

CA CPT 2024 Admit Cards

How to download CA CPT admit cards

• The applicants must download the admit card for CA CPT 2024 from the official website.
• Candidates need to enter their Login Id and Password as registered from 24th April 2024
• Candidates will be directed to their ICAI registered account
• Candidates need to click on the ‘view’ button for CA CPT Admit Card 2024
• Candidates need to save the admit card or click on the download button to obtain the admit card for CPT

CA CPT June 2024 Results

ICAI will announce the result of CA CPT 2024 June session 2024. The result will be declared in online mode. Candidates who will appear for CA CPT 2024 December examination will be able to check their results by logging in through their registered account.

CA CPT Preparation Tips

• Practice as more as you can because practice is the only key to get success in such kind of competitive exam.
• While revision practice model papers, previous years’ questions, and sample questions as more as you can.
• While practicing at home, start solving related questions immediately as you finish one portion of the theory.
• Try to solve maximum questions as possible.
• Avoid trying to hit and guess because if your guess is wrong there is a negative marking for the wrong answer, so try to use your sixth sense. If you are confused but sure about 1 option more than 70% then use guessing.
