NTA UGC NET Result December 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be announcing the UGC NET December 2024 exam result soon. The ugcnet.nta.ac.in is the UGC NET 2024 December result link hosting website. NTA has not announced the UGC NET result date.
The UGC NET December 2024 exams were held between January 3 and January 27 over nine dates in multiple exam cities across the country. NTA is yet to release the final UGC NET December 2024 answer keys. The provisional answer keys of UGC NET released on January 31 could be challenged by February 3, 2025.
Challenges made by the candidates will be verified and the final answer key will be issued next. Based on the final answer key, the UGC NET results will be announced.
According to the UGC NET December 2024 marking scheme, each question carried two marks and no negative marks would be cut for incorrect responses. Questions unanswered, un-attempted or marked for review would also not fetch any marks.
If a question is found to be incorrect, ambiguous or has multiple correct answers, only those candidates who have attempted the question and chosen one of the correct answers would be given the credit. If a question is found to be incorrect and the question is dropped, then two marks will be awarded to only to those candidates who have attempted the question. The reason could be due to human error or technical error.
