AME CET EXAM SYLLABUS 2026  

The AME CET 2026 (Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Common Entrance Test) syllabus is designed to evaluate the knowledge and aptitude of candidates aspiring to build a career in the aviation and engineering sector. The AME CET syllabus varies according to the qualification of the applicant. For candidates who have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, the syllabus primarily covers subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, and General Awareness. Students from engineering diploma or higher science backgrounds are tested on General Awareness, English, and Aptitude, while 10th or non-PCM candidates face questions from General Awareness, English, and General Intelligence & Reasoning.

The exam consists of 90 multiple-choice questions to be solved in 90 minutes, with each correct answer carrying four marks and one mark deducted for each wrong attempt. The Physics and Chemistry sections cover topics like mechanics, thermodynamics, optics, electrostatics, atomic structure, and chemical bonding, while Mathematics includes algebra, trigonometry, calculus, and probability. English assesses grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension, whereas General Awareness and Reasoning focus on current affairs, logical puzzles, and analytical skills.
