AP EAPCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Engineering Courses: The eligibility criteria for Engineering, B.Pharmacy (M.P.C), Pharma.D, B.Tech. (Dairy), B.Tech. (Agriculture Engineering), B.Tech. [Food Science and Technology (FS & T)], B.Sc. [Agriculture Engineering] courses are given below:

Nationality

• Applicants must hold an Indian citizenship or be holders of an OCI or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) card.
• Candidates must be from Telangana or Andhra Pradesh.
• The candidates must meet the Andhra Pradesh/Telangana local/non-local status standards.

 Qualification Criteria:

• Candidates must have passed or be scheduled to take the 12th grade or its equivalent exam from any Andhra Pradesh board that is recognized, with topics including math, physics, and chemistry.
• Applicants may also apply if they have finished or are enrolled in Diploma in Engineering courses.
• Students must have passed the 12th grade or be enrolled in an equivalent program from an accredited board in order to be eligible for the Pharm-D program. Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are elective courses.
• Candidates with a diploma in pharmacy may also apply to the Pharm-D program.
• In the core disciplines, students must receive 45% of the aggregate marks for general candidates and 40% for the reserved category.

Age criteria:

• In order to be admitted to engineering and pharmacy programs, students must have turned 16 by December 31 of the previous year. There is no maximum age for these courses.
• Applicants for the B.Tech. (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (FS & T), B.Tech. (Ag. Engineering), and B.Sc. (CA & BM) programs must be at least 17 years old as of December 31 of the year of admission. The maximum age limit for general applicants is 22 years old, and for candidates from SC and ST, it is 25 years old.
• Candidates for the Pharm-D program must be at least 17 years old as of December 31 of the year they are applying. 

Eligibility for Agriculture & Medical Courses:

The following criteria must be met in order to be eligible for courses in agriculture and medicine, including B.V.Sc. & A.H., B.Sc. (Agriculture), B.Sc. (Horticulture), B.F.Sc., B.Tech. (FS&T), and B.Pharma.

Nationality:

• Candidates must possess an Indian passport or be a Person of Indian Origin (PIO) or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI).
• Candidates have to be residents of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh.
• The candidates must meet the conditions for Local or Non-Local status as specified by Andhra Pradesh/Telangana.

Requirements for Qualification:

• Candidates for the B.Pharma program must have passed the intermediate course in biology, chemistry, and physics or be in their final year of study.
• Students must have passed or be scheduled to take the 12th grade or an equivalent test in any two or three of the subjects listed against each course listed below in order to be eligible for agriculture courses.
