APRJC 2026 Counselling

APRJC Counselling 2026

APRJC 2026 counselling is a crucial stage for students who have qualified in the Andhra Pradesh Residential Junior Colleges Common Entrance Test. The APRJC 2026 counselling process, conducted by APREIS (Andhra Pradesh Residential Educational Institutions Society), aims to streamline admissions to various intermediate courses such as MPC, BPC, MEC, and CEC offered in the residential junior colleges across Andhra Pradesh.

APRJC 2026 Counselling Schedule and Phases

The APRJC 2026 counselling will be conducted in two phases to ensure maximum seat allotment and accommodate all eligible students.

The first phase of counselling is expected around late May 2026:

  • MPC/EET – May 20, 2026
  • BPC/CGT – May 21, 2026
  • MEC/CEC – May 22, 2026

The second phase will follow in early June 2026:

  • MPC/EET – June 2, 2026
  • BPC/CGT – June 3, 2026
  • MEC/CEC – June 4, 2026

These dates may be subject to updates by APREIS and candidates are encouraged to stay informed via the official website.

Counselling Procedure

Registration for Counselling: Qualified candidates will receive notification of their counselling schedule through the official APREIS website, press releases, and SMS alerts. Students must register for counselling online through the designated portal to confirm attendance.

Document Verification: At the APRJC 2026 counselling venue, candidates are required to present original documents such as:

  • APRJC hall ticket and scorecard
  • SSC marks memo
  • Transfer certificate
  • Bonafide certificate
  • Caste and income certificates (if applicable)
  • Aadhaar card

Passport-sized photographs: Failure to produce these documents may lead to disqualification from counselling and seat allotment.

Seat Allotment: Seats are allotted based on the candidate's merit rank in the APRJC exam, category reservations, and availability of seats in preferred colleges and streams. The allotment is done group-wise as per the merit list and preferences filled during APRJC 2026 counselling.

Admission and Reporting: Selected candidates must report to the allotted college within the specified time to complete the admission formalities. Non-reporting within the stipulated timeline results in forfeiture of the seat.

Second Phase Counselling: Candidates not allotted a seat or who miss the first phase can participate in the second phase to avail remaining or vacated seats.
