HITSEEE 2026 Detailed Eligibility Criteria

1. Nationality

• Candidates must be Indian Nationals.
• Foreign/NRI/PIO candidates can also apply but will be considered under the Foreign/NRIs category as per HITS admission policies.

2. Age Limit

• Candidates should be born on or after 1st July 2004.
• There is no upper age limit, but the candidate must meet the minimum age requirement as per UGC/AICTE norms for undergraduate admission.

3. Educational Qualification – For B.Tech Courses

Academic Requirement:

• The candidate must have passed the 10+2 (Class 12) examination or its equivalent from a recognized Board (CBSE/State Board/ISC, etc.).

Mandatory Subjects:

• Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) are compulsory subjects.
• Candidates must have a strong foundation in Mathematics as it is essential for all B.Tech programs.

Minimum Marks Required:

• A minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (taken together) is required.
• Candidates awaiting their Class 12 results can also apply, but they must submit proof of eligibility before admission.

4. Educational Qualification – For B.Arch Course

Academic Requirement:

• The candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized Board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

Minimum Marks Required:

• At least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
• At least 50% marks in aggregate in the overall 10+2 examination.

Entrance Exam Requirement:

• Candidates seeking admission to the B.Arch program must have a valid NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) score or JEE (Main) Paper 2 (Architecture) score.
• HITSEEE does not apply to B.Arch aspirants.

5. Qualifying Examination
