Counseling sessions are mandatory for students because they are an important element of the selection process. In the JKCET Counselling 2026, candidates will be offered an option of expressing their own preferences of disciplines/institutions. The counseling sessions will commence in fourth week of June 2026, tentatively. Candidates must select various choices of disciplines/institutions, in which they want to join in order of preference. Candidates must bring all original documentation and a receipt for the Rs. 1500 counselling fee in person to the counselling session. The process for allocating seats will be based on the candidates' preferences and merit.
