LPU NEST ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA 2026

The LPU NEST 2026 eligibility criteria for B.Tech and MBA are as follows

For B.Tech

  • Tech candidates must be Indian citizens.
  • Qualifications: Passed Class 12 in Physics, Mathematics, and English.
  • Minimum Marks-
  • For B.Tech programs, candidates must have secured at least 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Mathematics, and English in their qualifying examination.
  • For specific branches like Biotechnology, Food Technology, or Biomedical Engineering, the subjects considered are Physics, Chemistry, English, and either Mathematics or Biology/Biotechnology.
  • For branches like Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Engineering, the required subjects are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English.
  • There is a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks for candidates from North-East states, Sikkim, Defence personnel and their dependents, and wards of Kashmiri migrants.
  • Outstanding sports persons (A/A+ category) are eligible for 10% relaxation subject to verification by the university selection committee.

For MBA

  • MBA candidates must be Indian citizens.
  • Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • Marks: At least 55% overall.
  • Additional Requirement: If you have a CAT / MAT / XAT /CMAT /NMAT /CUET score, you are qualified to apply.
