MBU CET 2026 (ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA)

The completion of 10+2 with PCM and a minimum of 60% in aggregate marks are prerequisites for MBU CET 2026 for B.Tech candidates. Other courses have unique requirements for eligibility. Prior to applying for MBU CET candidates should confirm their eligibility for the particular course.

For B.Tech (Undergraduate Engineering) Courses

  • Educational Qualification: Passed Class 12 (10+2) or equivalent examination.
  • Subjects: Must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
  • Minimum Aggregate Marks: At least 60% aggregate in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) combined.
  • Entrance Test: Candidates must qualify in MBU CET (UG Engineering) conducted by Mohan Babu University or any accepted national/state-level entrance exam such as JEE Main.

For Other Undergraduate Courses (B.Sc, BBA, B.Com, etc.)

  • Educational Qualification: Passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board.
  • Minimum Aggregate Marks: Usually 55% aggregate in the relevant stream or discipline.
  • Some courses may have specific subject requirements depending on specializations (e.g., B.Sc with Science subjects).

For Postgraduate Courses (M.Tech, MBA, MCA, M.Sc, etc.)

  • Educational Qualification: Graduation or equivalent degree from a recognized university.
  • Minimum Aggregate Marks: Generally 50-55% aggregate, varying by course.
  • Entrance Test: For example, M.Tech admissions require qualifying MBU CET (PG) or state-level entrance exams such as AP PGECET; MBA and MCA admissions often require AP ICET.
