MGMCET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

  • Compulsory Subjects: Mandatory subjects in 10+2 include Physics and Mathematics, along with any one of Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science (CS), or Biotechnology.
  • Minimum Aggregate Marks: Candidates in the General/Open category should have obtained at least 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Mathematics, and one optional subject.
  • Reserved category applicants (including SC/ST/OBC/NT/VJNT/SBC/PWD from Maharashtra State) must achieve at least 40% in aggregate.
  • Entrance Test: Admission is via a valid score in MGMCET, MHT CET, or JEE Main as per institute’s selection norms. Candidates must participate in the centralized admission process (CAP) unless applying to institute-level/vacant seats after CAP rounds.
