The NPAT (NMIMS Programs After Twelfth) UG Cut Off 2027 will determine admission into undergraduate degree programs—such as BBA, B.Com (Hons.), B.Sc Finance, and B.Sc Economics—across all campuses of SVKM’s NMIMS. Unlike state or central universities, NMIMS does not publish official raw cut-off scores publicly. Admission offers are made based on online merit lists generated from normalized NPAT performance, candidate program preferences, and available seats.
Because there is no penalty for wrong answers, scores tend to run high, especially for the flagship Vile Parle (Mumbai) campus.

Multiple Attempts: Candidates can take up to 3 attempts during the testing window. NMIMS considers your best score among all valid attempts for merit rank generation.
Score Normalization: Since tests take place across multiple days and sessions, scores are statistically normalized to ensure fairness across varying difficulty levels.
Merit List Rounds: NMIMS publishes Merit List 1 on the candidate portal npat.nmims.edu around June 2027, followed by Merit List 2 and Waitlists in July 2027 as seats fill up.
Q1. Does NMIMS declare an official NPAT cut-off PDF or score list?
Ans. No. SVKM’s NMIMS does not publicly publish fixed cut-off marks or cut-off PDFs. Admissions are managed strictly through online merit lists generated on the candidate portal- npat.nmims.edu, where seats are allotted based on your relative merit rank, campus preferences, and seat intake.
Q2. How does NMIMS handle multiple test attempts?
Ans. Candidates can register and take up to 3 attempts during the testing window. NMIMS automatically selects your highest normalized score among all valid attempts when generating the final merit list. Appearing for multiple attempts does not penalize your score.
Q3. How does score normalization work in NPAT?
Ans. Because NPAT is held across multiple dates and slots, test difficulty varies slightly between sessions. NMIMS uses a statistical normalization process to convert raw test scores into normalized percentile ranks. This ensures that a candidate who takes a slightly harder paper slot is not at a disadvantage compared to someone with an easier paper.
Q4.Is there a sectional cut-off in NPAT 2027?
Ans. NMIMS does not enforce rigid sectional cut-offs. Your rank is calculated using your overall composite score across all three sections (Quantitative, Logical, and Verbal Reasoning). However, maintaining balanced performance is necessary, as a very low score in any one section drags down your total aggregate.
Q5.Are there category-based reservations (OBC/SC/ST) for NMIMS cut-offs?
Ans. No. NMIMS is a private deemed university and does not offer statutory reservations (OBC, SC, ST, EWS) for general undergraduate admissions through NPAT. All merit lists are drawn strictly on open merit ranks.
