WB JEMAT 2026 COUNSELING

WB JEMAT 2026 counselling is conducted by MAKAUT in online e-counselling mode after declaration of the result, for admission to MBA, MHA and other PG management programmes in participating institutes across West Bengal. Only candidates who qualify the exam (and GD/PI where applicable) and register for counselling are considered for seat allotment.

1. Counselling Notification & Schedule
• MAKAUT releases the JEMAT 2026 e-counselling notice, dates and instructions on makautwb.ac.in and the JEMAT portal.
• Only candidates with valid JEMAT 2026 ranks are eligible to participate.
2. Online Counselling Registration
• Visit the JEMAT counselling link (usually via cetmat.formflix.com/jemat) and create/login to your account.
• Enter basic details, JEMAT roll number, rank, category, academic information and upload required data as per instructions.
3. Payment of Counselling Fee
• Pay the prescribed e-counselling/registration fee online (non-refundable) within the deadline to activate choice filling.
• Download and keep the payment receipt for future reference.
4. Choice Filling and Locking
• Select preferred institutes and programmes (MBA/MHA/other PG management) in order of priority from the available list.
• Review and “lock” choices before the last date; unlocked choices may be auto-locked as per system rules.
5. Seat Allotment Result
• MAKAUT processes seat allotment based on JEMAT rank, category, seat matrix and filled choices.
• Download the provisional allotment letter from the portal and check instructions for reporting/fee payment.
6. Document Verification & Institute Reporting
• Report (online/offline as notified) to the allotted institute with allotment letter, JEMAT rank card, admit card, academic mark sheets, caste/domicile/PwD certificates, ID proof, photos, etc.
• Institute/MAKAUT verifies documents; any discrepancy can lead to cancellation of the seat.
7. Acceptance, Fee Payment and Upgradation
• Pay admission fees at the allotted institute to confirm the seat.
• If provisioned, participate in further rounds for upgradation or internal sliding based on remaining vacancies and preferences.
