The Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Institute of Technology in Pune was founded in 2014. The CSMIT College is affiliated to the University of Mumbai.  The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has approved CSMIT Panvel.  

There are three undergraduate courses available at CSMIT Panvel. Computer, civil, and mechanical engineering are among the UG courses offered by CSMIT. The courses at CSMIT run for four years. The MHCET or JEE results are used to determine admission to CSMIT.

In addition to powerlifting, weight training, and specialized training and strength machines, the gym is equipped with the newest technology. 

Library- The central library and departmental libraries that make up the CSMIT Library system work together to support the institute's research, teaching, and outreach initiatives. By joining the library, all staff members, instructors, and students at the institute are eligible to use its resources. The library provides library services through its many divisions in addition to its vast collection of books on engineering, humanities, and management. 

Hostel- Excellent hostel facilities are offered by CSMIT to give boys and girls their own private space in a friendly and safe environment. All students in need can find lodging and nutritious meals in the hostel. The rooms are equipped with fans, cabinets, tables, and chairs.
