This is the most common scholarship awarded by the institute itself to undergraduate students (B.Tech, Dual Degree, B.Arch, and Integrated M.Sc).
Benefits: Full exemption from the Tuition Fee plus a monthly allowance of Rs.1,000 for 10 months.
Eligibility:
Annual family income must not exceed Rs.4.5 Lakhs (sometimes revised to Rs.6 Lakhs based on GoI norms).
Freshers are selected based on their JEE Advanced rank (must have at least 60% in Class 12).
For renewal, a minimum CGPA of 7.00 is required with no backlogs.

Eligibility: Top 100 AIR (All India Rank) holders in JEE Advanced who take admission at IIT Kharagpur.
Means Criterion: Gross annual parental income must be less than Rs.20 Lakhs.
