ABR College of Engineering and Technology (ABRCET) was established in the year 2008 by a visionary leader and founder Sri A.BASI REDDY under ABR Educational Society with 4 UG programmers with total 240 in take of 60 for each programme during the academic year 2008-2009.

The college is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and temporarily affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK). ABRCET campus is situated in Lush green neem tree spread over in 10 Acres land and over 1.2100 lakhs sq.ft constructed building to house all facilities and requirements as per AICTE norms.

ABRCET is a private Self-financing institution. Though the initial intake is 240 today, the institution offers 9 UG programmes intake of 60 each and one PG programme (MBA) with intake of 120 total sanctioned intake of 660 students. The institution has bagged 3 university Gold medals consecutively for three years.
