Acharya Brojendra Nath Seal College Info

Established on 1888 by Maharaja Nripendra Narayan, the Victoria College was the crown jewel of higher education of the princely state of Cooch Behar, as it was the prime seat of graduate level education in undivided Northern Bengal. Later on, the Institution flourished under the leadership of renowned philosopher and educationist Acharya Brojendra Nath Seal. In 1970, when the college was taken by the Government of West Bengal, and was brought under West Bengal Education Service, it was renamed after its legendary Principal Acharya Seal. Since 2016, this college is affiliated to the Cooch Behar Panchanan Barma University.

Studying in this college is a great things for the students of rural background.This college is NAAC A accridated college having a lots of reach history.All of the environment is quite good in terms of students faculties relation, study, sports erc. There is best things that classes are conducts on regular basis and project, assignment,h.w also provides by the faculties.But there is some cons is that faculties are teaching in bengali medium though they provides all the study materials in english and a few faculties dont complete their syllabus properly. If you have not so much financial condition to study in premiere institutes then this college is one of the vest college for undergraduate studies.
