Amal Jyothi Engineering College Application/Admission Process

Amal Jyothi College of Engineering (AJCE) in Kerala conducts an entrance-based admission process for 2026, offering various undergraduate and graduate programs. Candidates must participate in a national entrance exam, followed by counselling. For B.Tech programs, admissions are determined by JEE Main. or KEAM ranks and through KEAM counselling. Admission to M.Tech programs requires candidates to take specific entrance exams like GATE while MCA admissions are based on merit.

Admission Steps

  1. Application
    • Register online at the official AJCE website (ajce.in → Admissions → Apply Online).
    • Fill out the form, upload required documents, and pay the application fee.
  2. Entrance Exams
    • B.Tech: Admission through KEAM (Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical) or JEE Main.
    • M.Tech: Admission via  GATE or Kerala PGCET
    • MCA: Admission via LBS Kerala MCA exam (except integrated MCA).
  1. Counselling & Merit List
  •  KEAM counselling conducted by CEE Kerala (3 rounds).
  • Merit lists published online; shortlisted candidates attend counselling.
  1. Seat Confirmation
  • Accept the offer, pay fees,
  • Non-local students must provide migration certificates.

Eligibility Criteria

  • B.Tech: 10+2 with 45% aggregate in PCM (40% for reserved categories).
  • M.Tech: Bachelor’s degree with 60% aggregate (54% for SEBC).
  • MCA: Bachelor’s degree (preferably BCA/CS) with 50% aggregate.

  • KEAM Results: July 1, 2026
  • KEAM Counselling (Phase 1): July 11–16, 2026
  • Provisional Allotment (Phase 1): July 17, 2026
  • Final Allotment (Phase 1): July 18, 2026
  • Phase 2 Counselling: July 25–30, 2026
  • GATE 2026 Results: March 19, 2026
  • PGCET (MBA/MCA/M.Tech): April–May 2026 (tentative)
