Arul Anandar College was originally founded as De La Salle College in 1970 it was renamed Arul Anandar College in 1972 when it became a Jesuit institution. The college achieved autonomous status in 1987, making it one of the youngest colleges in Tamil Nadu to do so. AAC is “A” grade NAAC accredited institute, and also have affiliation with Madurai Kamraj University.
