Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women Tamil Nadu is located in Tamil Nadu. The education institution was established in the year 1957. Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for women, Coimbatore was established as an aided college by the great patriot and educationist Padma Bhushan Dr.T.S.Avinashilingam under the auspices of the Avinashilingam Education Trust in1957 with 45 women students. Dr.Rajammal P.Devadas, doyen of Home Science nurtured the instirtution of what it is today. Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women offers various courses in UG & PG. The college has a well developed infrastructure and facilities like computer lab, Auditorium, Sports and more. The college has well trained and experienced faculty members.
