BGVS Arts & Commerce College is located at a prime locality on the bank of kali river of  Sadashivgad  which is easily accessible.  Our college is affiliated to the Karnataka University, Dharwad. It is included under section 2 (f) and 12 (B) of UGC Act in December 2002, Our College is committed to provide adequate infrastructural facility, well-qualified teaching and administrative staff for creating an effective learning- teaching centre of repute.  So our vision is to provide excellent education for empowering students for employment.

Bapuji Grameen Vikas Samiti was established in the year 1985. The Samiti established Arts and Commerce First Grade College in the year 1987. The  Bapuji Grameen Vikas Samiti, the parent Institute of our college was established under the guidance of Shri Prabhakar S. Rane a great visionary, educationist, and a committed ideologist. His commitment is to realize the dream of Mahatma Gandhi “Gram Rajya Se Rama Rajya Tak ”.
