Undergraduate Admissions (B. Tech)

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates must have completed their 10+2 education with at least 45% marks in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry from a recognized board.
• Admission is based on scores from entrance exams such as KCET, JEE Main, or COMEDK UGET.

Application Process:

• Online Application: Candidates need to fill out the application form available on the BEC official website.
• Entrance Exam: Register and appear for the relevant entrance exam (KCET, JEE Main, or COMEDK UGET).
• Counseling: After qualifying in the entrance exam, candidates must participate in the counseling process where they will be allocated seats based on their scores and preferences.

• Caste certificate (if applicable)

Postgraduate Admissions (M.Tech, MBA, MCA)

Eligibility Criteria:

For M.Tech: Candidates must have a B.Tech degree with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) and qualify through GATE or Karnataka PGCET.

For MBA/MCA: A bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) is required, along with KMAT or Karnataka PGCET scores.

Application Process:

• Online Application: Similar to undergraduate admissions, candidates must complete an online application on the BEC website.
• Entrance Exams: Candidates should register for GATE or Karnataka PGCET as applicable.
• Counseling: Successful candidates will need to attend counseling sessions based on their entrance exam results.

Ph.D. Admissions

Candidates interested in Ph.D. programs must appear for the ULRAT test conducted by Visveswaraiah Technological University (VTU) along with an interview.
