Baba Institute of Technology and Sciences (BITS Vizag), located in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, primarily admits students through state-level entrance exams and counseling for its B.Tech, M.Tech, and MBA programs. Admissions for 2026-27 follow the standard AP state process, with seats allocated via merit ranks, convener quota, and management quota.

Eligibility Criteria :

For B.Tech: Candidates need 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (minimum 45-50% aggregate, with relaxations for reserved categories) and a valid  AP EAPCET or JEE Main score. 

For M.Tech: Candidates requires a relevant bachelor's degree (50% marks) plus GATE/AP PGECET

For MBA: Candidates needs a bachelor's degree (50%) and AP ICET score.

Admission Steps :

  1. Register and appear for the relevant entrance exam (AP EAPCET/AP PGECET/AP ICET) via official websites.
  2. Check merit rank post-results and participate in web-based counseling (late June to mid-August).
  3. During counseling, select BITS Vizag and preferred branch using college code; seats allotted by rank.
  4. Visit college for document verification, pay fees online, and confirm admission.
  5. For management quota or lateral entry (B.Tech 2nd year), apply directly via college website after counseling.
