Admission Process

Candidates need to first register online at bangaloreuniversity.karnataka.gov.in or uucms.karnataka.gov.in
They need to fill the form, upload documents, and pay the application fees.
Selection involves merit lists for UG based on 10+2 marks, entrance tests like BU Entrance Exam or PGCET for PG, followed by counseling and document verification.
For professional courses like BTech, KCET/JEE Main scores apply; MBA/MCA use PGCET/CMAT.
Shortlisted candidates get to attend counseling, pay fees, and confirm seats.

Eligibility Criteria

UG programs require 10+2 with 40-50% aggregate (relaxation for reserved categories); e.g., BA/BSc 45%, BBA/B.Com 50%.
PG needs a relevant bachelor's with 40-55%; e.g., MCA requires BCA/BSc with Math and PGCET.
PhD requires master's with 55%.
Age limits apply for BA LLB (under 20 years).

Application Fees

Fees range from Rs450-850 depending on course: UG Rs450, integrated like BSc-MSc Rs500, MBA Rs650, BA LLB Rs850.
SC/ST pay reduced Rs550
The fees are to be paid online.

PGCET rank holders can skip BU test for some PG program admission.
