BIHER, Chennai – Scholarships

BIHER, Chennai grants fee concession to the meritorious students, the details of which are furnished hereunder:

  • Marks obtained above 95% percent, students are eligible for a grant of 75% of tuition fee per year.
  • Marks obtained between 90-95 percent; students are eligible for a grant of 50% of tuition fee per year.
  • Marks obtained between 70-90 percent; students are eligible for a grant of 25% of tuition fee per year.

BIHER, Chennai grants fee concession to the toppers in Sports activities, the details of which are furnished hereunder:

  • The national level sports: 75% of tuition fee concession
  • State Level sports: 50% of tuition fee concession  
  • District-level sports: 25% of tuition fee concession

BEEE Merit Scholarships

Based on the performance in the BIHER Engineering Entrance Examination (BEEE), scholarships to the students shall be granted as detailed below:

Rank obtained in BEEE from 26 to 250: 50% waiver of Tuition Fee

Rank obtained in BEEE from 251 to 500: 25% waiver of Tuition Fee

Merit-cum-Means Scholarship (Socio-economic)

A 100% tuition fee waiver is granted to students of economically challenged, based on their performance in the Qualifying Examination.

Bank Loans

Bank loans are granted to eligible students through a hassle-free and simple process at the time of counseling by select Banks.
