Bundelkhand Institute of Engineering & Technology (BIET), Jhansi – Scholarships

Bundelkhand Institute of Engineering and Technology does not offer scholarships directly to students. However, students at BIET can apply for various scholarships provided by private companies, government agencies, the state government, the central government, and the UGC (University Grants Commission). 

Additionally, students may be able to receive scholarships offered by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education).

Available scholarships include:

Pragati Scholarship Scheme for Girl Students (Technical Degree) For female students admitted to a first-year or second-year (lateral entry) degree-level course. A maximum of two girls per family can apply if the family income is not more than INR 8 LPA. The scholarship offers INR 50,000 per annum.

Saksham Scholarship Scheme for Specially Abled Student (Technical Degree) Students admitted to a first-year or second-year (lateral entry) degree-level course with a disability of not less than 40% and whose family income is not more than INR 8 LPA are eligible.

Central Sector Scheme of Scholarships for College and University Students who have qualified 10+2, obtained an 80th percentile in their stream, and are pursuing a regular course from a recognized university can receive INR 10,000 per annum for the first three years of college and university courses and INR 20,000 per annum at the postgraduate level. 

Eligibility criteria include pursuing regular degree courses (not correspondence or diploma courses), being above the 80th percentile of successful candidates in Class 12, studying at AICTE-recognized colleges, not receiving other scholarship benefits, and having a parental/family income not exceeding INR 4,50,000 per annum. Renewal requires at least 50% marks in annual exams and 75% attendance.

Merit-cum-Means Scholarship for Professional and Technical Courses Students who have secured not less than 50% marks in the previous final examination and whose parents' annual income does not exceed INR 2.50 lakhs are eligible for INR 20,000 per annum, with INR 1,000 a day for hostellers and INR 500 for day scholars.

Ishan Uday – Special Scholarship Scheme for North Eastern Region Domiciles of the North Eastern Region who have secured admission into a first-year degree course and have a family income of less than INR 4.5 LPA can receive INR 5,400 per month.

PG Indira Gandhi Scholarship for Single Girl Child Girl students admitted to the first year of a PG course, under 30 years of age, can receive INR 36,200 per annum.

PG Scholarship for University Rank Holders (First and Second Rank Holders) Students admitted to the first year of a PG course, under 30 years of age, who were first or second university rank holders in their UG level examination can receive INR 3,100 per month.
