Admission to Cauvery College of Engineering & Technology (CCET) in Tiruchirappalli for B.E. programs is conducted primarily through the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) process, which is managed by the Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Chennai. The Admission Pathway (TNEA)

Online Registration: All candidates must register on the official TNEA portal.
Merit-Based: Admissions are based on the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in the 12th standard (HSC) or equivalent.

Eligibility Criteria

B.E. (First Year): A pass in 10+2 (HSC) with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.

Minimum aggregate marks required: 45% (General category) and 40% (Reserved categories).

Lateral Entry: Candidates with a completed Diploma in Engineering (with the required percentage) are eligible to apply directly for the second year.
M.E. (Postgraduate): Candidates must hold a B.E./B.Tech degree and have a valid score in GATE or CEETA-PG.
