After his studies he continued in business with his brothers. He is a social activist and attracted for politics in the year 1973 to serve people of his home- town, elected as Congress Youth President (1976), elected as Sarpanch (1981) of Major Panchayath, Naidupet. AP State Govt. awarded him as BEST SARPANCH in 1983, entered State politics and contested MLA for Srikalahasti Assembly Constituency (1994), served as MLA of Tirupati Assembly Constituency (1999), TTD Board Chairman (24 th April 2015) of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam. He offered social services of free drinking water supply to the needy people at their door-step and also free medical treatment with permanent establishment of Hospital, pension to the old-age, performed several times mass marriages to the peoples of Assembly Constituencies of Naidupet, Srikalahasthi and Tirupati.REC with 19 years of its illustrious existence has produced many Engineers, Managers and Leaders who have enriched the world through their immense contributions for mankind. CREC offering 04 Diploma Programs viz. Diploma in Civil Engineering (DCE), Computer Engineering (DCME), Electrical & Electronics Engineering (DEEE), Electronics & Communication Engineering (DECE), 07 Undergraduate Programs viz. B.Tech. CSE, B.Tech(AI),B.Tech(AI & M L) ECE, ME, EEE CE and 06 Postgraduate programs viz. M.Tech.- CSE (CSE), ECE (VLSI & SD), ME (CAD/CAM),EEE (PED), MBA & MCA; in conventional and emerging areas. The College has been effectively practicing Choice Based Credit System (CBCS), Outcome Based Education(OBE).
