The Co-operative School of Law is the first and only Cooperative Sector Law School in the State of Kerala. The Co-operative School of Law envisioned as a premier law school, is also the third prestigious institutional endeavour of Thodupuzha Taluk Educational Co-operative Society Ltd. No. I-159. The School of law is recognised by the Bar Council of India and Affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University. The Society Ltd. No. I-159 was established in 1983, under the Kerala State Co-operative Societies Act 1969. The primary objective of the society is to create employment opportunities for post graduates and to strengthen the higher education sector.The motto of the Society is to provide quality education at minimum cost. It is a non-profit organisation owned by a group of postgraduates of Thodupuzha Taluk and the institutions managed by the society functions strictly under the control and audit of the Co-operative Department, Govt. of Kerala. Established in 1983, the Co-operative College, Thodupuzha, has attained a stamp of high reputation in the field of higher education. The Co-operative Public School, the second venture of the Society, started in 2004 with the competence and confidence of two decades of experience in the field of education, has emerged as one of the most sought after CBSE institutions at Thodupuzha. Having completed four decades in the field of higher education, a new generation Law School  with national reach is a well thought out decision of the Society
