College of Social Work, Nirmala Niketan (CSWNN) in Mumbai holds strong rankings in social work education, including top 5 spots nationally by India Today and NIRF band 101-150 for colleges.

 Ranking and Recognitions:

  • The College received the FIVE STAR designation for academic achievement in 2001 from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), which was established by the University Grants Commission in New Delhi. Following additional examination and evaluation, the same organization re-accredited the College of Social Work on March 31, 2007, with an Institutional Score of 93% and an A+ rating. The National Accreditation and Assessment Cell (NAAC) reaccredited the College of Social Work, Nirmala Niketan (Third Cycle) in May 2015 with an A Grade (3.53 CGPA out of 4), good until December 31, 2024.
  • On February 12, 2019, the University Grants Commission awarded Autonomous Status to the College of Social Work, Nirmala Niketan, effective for a period of ten years, from the academic year 2019-2020 to 2028-2029.
