Dayananda Sagar Academy Of Technology And Management Application/Admission Process

Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology and Management (DSATM) Bangalore conducts admissions for UG (BE/BTech) via KCET /COMEDK /KCET and PG (MBA/MCA) via Karnataka PGCET/KMAT through counseling and management quota.

Eligibility Criteria:

B.Arch- Candidates must passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with either Chemistry or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies with at least 45% marks in aggregate or passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 45% marks in aggregate.

B.E- Passed in 2nd PUC / 12 standard/ Equivalent examination with English as one of the languages and obtained minimum of 45% of marks in aggregate in physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects along with chemistry / Bio-Technology /Biology / Electronics / computer science. In case of Karnataka SC, ST and OBC candidates, the minimum aggregate percentage shall be 40%.

MBA: A candidate who has passed Recognised Bachelor's Degree of minimum of 3 years duration examination or equivalent examination and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all the subjects including languages in all the years of the Degree Examination is eligible for admission to MBA courses. (45% of marks in Q. E. in case of SC, ST and Category-I of Karnataka candidates) (Reservation is applicable only for Karnataka Candidates).

MCA: A candidate who has passed any recognized BCA / Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent Degree Or Passed B.Sc. / B.Com / B.A, preferably with Mathematics at 10 +2 level or at Graduation level and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all the subjects in all the years of the Degree Examination is eligible for admission to MCA courses. 45% of marks in Q. E. in case of SC, ST and Category-I of Karnataka candidates.

Steps of Admission Process

Appear for entrance exam (KCET /COMEDK for BTech; Karnataka PGCET)/KMAT for MBA).
Register for counseling on official sites (kea.kar.nic.in for KCET ; comedk.org for COMEDK ).
Fill choices, attend document verification rounds (3-4 rounds).
Seat allotment; pay fees to confirm (management quota direct via college).
