Overall it was good. Exam time was not too hectic. Study material was easily available. You can join college groups for help and guidance. Results were easily accessible online. Got to learn many things. Syllabus was pretty easy. Online help was available.

Compared to private universities such as Amity, Ashoka, or OP Jindal, DU’s exams are relatively traditional and theory-heavy. Private institutions generally emphasize continuous evaluation through quizzes, presentations, open-book tests, and practical projects. This makes their system more skill-based, while DU still leans on rote learning and pen-paper exams.However, DU nightlife is not only about food and cafés. Many students also engage in late-night study groups, cultural society rehearsals, and informal gatherings at hangout spots like Ridge Road or India Gate. College fests often extend into the evening, adding to the nightlife vibe. That said, safety is a concern, especially for women. While the main student zones are well-lit and crowded, nearby isolated areas can feel unsafe at night. Public transport options become limited late in the evening, pushing students toward cabs or autos, which adds to costs.
