Department of Computer Science & Information Technology – Scholarship

Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University (JRNRVU), Udaipur, Rajasthan, provides diverse scholarships for its students pursuing higher education at the Department of Computer Science & Information Technology (CSIT). Students pursuing BCA, M.Sc. Computer Science, and similar programs through this department, are offered with merit-based awards, category-specific aid, and government schemes to ease financial burdens amid affordable fees like INR 42,000 per semester.

Types of Scholarships

JRNRVU offers merit scholarships for students scoring above 90% in qualifying exams or CGPA >9 as departmental toppers.
These students are provided with INR 20,000 minimum or up to 100% tuition waivers.
Sports scholarships reward national/international players with full fee exemptions for elite achievers.
Category-based options include SC/ST/OBC/EWS support via state portals (up to 70% fee refunds for BPL/minorities), girl child concessions, and NET/SLET qualifiers with high school marks over 70%.
Additional aids cover single girl child, defense wards, and alumni discounts.

Eligibility Criteria for Scholarships

Merit awards target top performers (90%+ or CGPA 9+), while need-based requires income proofs for EWS/BPL.
Candidates from reserved categories need valid certificates, sports scholarships demand participation proofs, and PG aids like NET/SLET apply to M.Sc./M.Phil. applicants maintaining minimum attendance/CGPA for renewals.
Rajasthan domicile are often given priority, with non-combinable rules capping benefits annually based on funds.

Scholarship Application Process

Apply post-admission via jrnrvu.edu.in or Rajasthan scholarship portal, submitting mark sheets, income/category certificates, and proofs before deadlines (typically aligned with admission cycles, e.g., July-August)
Verification by authorities precedes disbursement, with late/incomplete forms rejected.
CSIT students track updates on departmental notices, as awards renew semesterally on performance.

Financial Aid Options at JRNRVU

Beyond scholarships, banks offer education loans without direct university guarantees.
