Department of Management Studies – IIT Delhi, New Delhi – Admissions

The Department of Management Studies (DMS) at IIT Delhi offers flagship MBA programs in General Management and Telecom Management. The admission process is primarily based on CAT 2025 scores followed by interviews. This process ensures selection of candidates with strong academic backgrounds and potential for Management roles.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates need a bachelor's degree of at least three years in any discipline with a minimum 60% aggregate (55% for SC/ST/PwD categories) or equivalent CGPA.
Final-year students are eligible provisionally if they complete their degree by July 2026.
A valid CAT 2025 score is mandatory for MBA programs.
Work experience is not required but adds weightage (7%) in shortlisting.

Admission Process

The process starts with eligibility verification and CAT 2025 scores, followed by shortlisting using a composite index: CAT (65%), academics (16%: 10th 6%, 12th 5%, graduation 5%), work experience (7%), and gender diversity (6%).
Shortlisted candidates (around 500-600 for 115 seats) proceed to Personal Interview (PI) and possibly Group Discussion (GD).
Final selection considers PI performance, with results declared in May 2026; selected candidates pay fees to confirm seats.
