Dr. J.J.Magdum College of Engineering Application/Admission Process

For admissions to Dr. J.J. Magdum College of Engineering (JJMCOE) in 2026–27, candidates must apply through MHT CET or JEE main., followed by centralized counselling. Applications open in March 2026, with deadlines in April–May depending on entrance exam status.

Eligibility Criteria

  • For B.Tech (First Year):
    • Passed 10+2 (HSC) with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Computer Science/Biology.
    • Minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved categories).
    • Valid score in MHT CET or JEE main.
  • For Lateral Entry (Direct Second Year):
    • Diploma in Engineering/Technology with minimum 45% marks.
  • For PG
  • Passed Bachelor Degree in the relevant field of Engineering and Technology from All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved institutions or equivalent, with at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only)

Steps of Application Process

  1. Entrance Exam Requirement
    • Candidates must appear for MHT CET(Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) or JEE main.
    • Without these exams, admission is not considered.
  2. Application Form
    • Available online on the official JJMCOE website and through the State CET Cell portal.
    • Fill in personal, academic, and exam details.
  3. Counselling Registration
    • Register for CAP (Centralized Admission Process) counselling conducted by the State CET Cell.
    • Choice filling for preferred branches (Civil, CSE, IT, Mechanical, E&TC, AI & Data Science).
  4. Seat Allotment
    • Based on entrance exam rank, category, and preferences.
    • Confirm seat by paying admission fees and submitting documents
