Dr. Mahalingam College of Engineering and Technology (MCET) in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, has a structured admission process for its various undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The following outlines the application and admission procedures for prospective students.

B.E/B.Tech

Application Process-

• Applicants must pay INR 500 for general applicants and INR 250 for reserved candidates in order to use the online mode.
• Candidates must pay INR 700 for the general category and INR 450 for the SC/ST and OBC categories in order to use the offline mode.
• Based on their graduation grades, the candidates will be contacted for the counseling phase after submitting their application.

For M.Tech and MCA-

• The TANCET application form is available for download on the official website.
• Candidates must first register, after which they must use the login ID and password they were given to complete the form.
• For the general category, the application fee is INR 500, and for the other categories, it is INR 250.
