The visionary king Sir Sayaji Rao Gaekwad III's ideal project was the M S University of Baroda, founded in 1949. There are over 35,000 students enrolled at this globally recognized university from all over the world. It is Gujarat State's only English-medium university.
Both the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Bar Council of India (BCI) have recognized the Faculty of Law. The Faculty is ranked third among Outstanding Law Schools of Excellence (CSR 2020, 2021), first among government law schools in Gujarat (Week 2020, 2021), and among the top 25 law schools (Forbes, 2021). The goal of the undergraduate and graduate programs offered by the Faculty of Law is to provide students with a strong foundation in legal knowledge.

Any Graduate who has earned at least 40% for Students in the SC and ST categories, 42% for Candidates in the SEBC category, and 45% for General Category Students in the qualifying examination.
B.A/LLB
The minimum percentage of marks required to pass the 10+2 examination must be at least 45% of the total marks in the XII Standard for applicants in the General category, 42% of the total marks in the XII Standard for applicants in the SEBC category, and 40% of the total marks in the XII Standard for applicants in the SC and ST categories.
