Global Academy of Technology (GAT), Bangalore – Application/Admission Process

Eligibility Criteria

Undergraduate Programs (BE):

  • Candidates must have completed Class 12 with a minimum of 45% aggregate in subjects like Physics, Mathematics, and either Chemistry or Computer Science from a recognized board.
  • Admission is primarily based on scores from COMEDK or KCET.

Postgraduate Programs (M. Tech, MBA, M.Sc.):

  • Tech: Candidates need a BE degree with at least 50% aggregate (45% for reserved categories). Admission is based on GATE or PGCET scores.
  • MBA: A bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate is required. Admission is based on scores from entrance exams like KMAT or PGCET.
  • Sc. by Research: Candidates should have a BE/ B. Tech degree with at least 60% aggregate (with a 10% relaxation for reserved categories).

Application Process:

The application process for GAT is conducted online. Here are the steps involved:

Visit the Official Website: Go to gat.ac.in.

Register Online: Click on 'Apply Now' and register using your mobile number and email ID to generate login credentials.

Fill Out the Application Form: Log in and complete the application form with required details.

Upload Documents: Prepare and upload necessary documents, including:

  • Class 10 and 12 mark sheets
  • Degree marks card
  • Transfer certificate
  • Aadhar card copy
  • Passport-size photographs

Pay Application Fee: Submit the application fee as specified.

Submit the Application Form: Review all details and submit your application.
