The Global Institute of Engineering & Technology was the first college to establish a placement cell, even though most of its peer institutions thought the department was unnecessary when it first opened. Within GIET, one of the active locations is the "placement cell." Through maintaining contacts with numerous industry groups and research organizations, the institute's Training and Placement Cell manages all facets of placements at GIET for graduating students from all departments.
