GCOEA is unique in offering specific merit-cum-need assistance through corporate partnerships and its strong alumni network:

  • Siemens Scholarship:Targeted at first-year B.Tech students with excellent academic records and low family income (typically below ?2 Lakh). This is highly competitive and covers tuition fees, provides a laptop, and offers a path to internships and placement.
  • Spandan Foundation Scholarship:An initiative by GCOEA alumni. It provides financial aid to at least one student per branch/year who demonstrates high merit but lacks the financial means to continue their studies.
  • Merit-cum-Means Scholarships:Various local trusts and donors provide smaller grants throughout the year, which are announced on the college's notice boards.

Central & National Scholarships

  • AICTE Pragati:Exclusively for meritorious girl students (up to two per family) entering the first year. It provides Rs 50,000 per year for every year of study.
  • AICTE Swanath: Supports orphans, wards of parents who died due to Covid-19, or wards of Armed Forces martyred in action. It also provides Rs.50,000 per annum.
  • GATE Stipend (for M.Tech):Students admitted to M.Tech programs with a valid GATE score receive a monthly stipend of Rs.12,400 for the duration of the course (24 months).
