As a government institution, Government College (Autonomous), Kalaburagi (GCAK) provides extensive financial support primarily through state and central government schemes. Central Government Scholarships (via NSP)

These are applicable to students who meet national-level merit or category criteria.

  • Central Sector Scheme: For students who scored above the 80th percentile in their Class 12 boards.

  • Specialized & Foundation Scholarships

  • Deepika Azim Premji Foundation Scholarship: Specifically for first-year girl students (launched for the 2025-26/2026-27 cycles) to support their entire degree duration.
  • UGC Remedial Coaching: While not a direct cash scholarship, the college provides free UGC-funded specialized coaching for SC/ST, OBC, and Minority students to improve academic performance
  • Minority Scholarships (MOMA): Dedicated support for Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, and Parsi students with >50% marks in previous exams and family income < Rs.2 Lakhs.
