For the 2026-2027 academic session, students at Government Post Graduate College, Dharamshala, have access to a wide array of financial aid schemes funded by the State Government of Himachal Pradesh and the Central Government.

Kalpana Chawla Chatravriti Yojna: Target: Meritorious girl students from all streams (Arts, Science, Commerce).
Amount: Approx. Rs.15,000 per annum.
Selection: Based on the 10+2 merit list declared by HPBOSE.
Dr. Ambedkar Medhavi Chhatravriti Yojna:
Target: Top meritorious students belonging to SC and OBC categories.
Amount: Approx. Rs.18,000 per annum for two successive years.
Swami Vivekanand Utkrisht Chhatravriti Yojna: Target: Meritorious students from the General category.
Amount: Approx. Rs.18,000 per annum based on 10+2 merit.
Thakur Sen Negi Utkrisht Chhatravriti Yojna:
Target: Top 100 boys and top 100 girls belonging to the ST category of Himachal Pradesh.
Amount: Approx. Rs.11,000 per annum.

Post-Matric Scholarship (SC/ST/OBC):
Eligibility: Annual family income must not exceed Rs.2.5 Lakh (for SC/ST) or Rs.1.5 Lakh (for OBC).
Benefits: Full tuition fee waiver and a monthly maintenance allowance.
Integrated Mukhya Mantri Protsahan Yojana:
Target: Students who secure admission into premier national institutes (like IITs, AIIMS, IIMs) after studying in HP government colleges.
One-time Incentive: Approx. Rs.75,000.
Scholarship for Students with Disabilities: Financial support for students with a disability of 40% or more.
Tuition Fee Waiver for Girls: As per HP state policy, all Bonafide Himachali girls are exempt from paying tuition fees in government colleges.
Student Aid Fund (SAF): A college-level fund providing immediate financial help to exceptionally poor or needy students for books and exam fees.
Brother-Sister Concession: A minor fee concession is sometimes available if two or more siblings are enrolled in the same college simultaneously.
