Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), New Delhi – Scholarships

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University offers the following key scholarship opportunities for its students.

  1. Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Scholarship: GGSIPU offers scholarships to students belonging to the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) of society. The maximum scholarship amount is INR 50,000, though it can be increased in exceptional cases.

Eligibility is based on factors like family's livelihood pattern, number of dependents, health status, and academic merit. Students need to apply with required documents and appear before a committee for assessment. 

  1. Merit-cum-Means Linked Financial Assistance Scheme: This scholarship is offered by the Government of NCT of Delhi for GGSIPU students enrolled in undergraduate courses. Students from Delhi state public universities/colleges are eligible if their family holds a National Food Security Card and they have at least 60% aggregate marks (5% relaxation for SC/ST). 
  2. Hana Scholarship: GGSIPU offers this scholarship in collaboration with the Hana Nanum Foundation. It is available for financially deprived students, differently-abled students, and those with top academic performance. 
  3. DLF Raghvendra Scholarship Programme: Under this MoU between GGSIPU and the DLF Foundation, 4 students per year are nominated for the scholarship. In addition to these, the university also provides financial assistance through grants to students engaged in entrepreneurial activities.
