So, I took admission in GTBIT in the year 2020 for pursuing B. Tech specializing in Electronics and communication engineering. Admission to GTBIT's B.Tech program requires meeting standard eligibility criteria, including achieving a minimum of 70% in the 12th standard and obtaining competitive marks in the JEE entrance exam. Higher scores are particularly important for admission to IT and CSE branches. Talking about the placements at GTBIT, the college offers decent placement opportunities for students across all branches. However, students in Computer Science and Information Technology tend to have greater prospects. As far as the course fee is concerned, it amounts to something around 1,13,900 per year. The college also provides financial assistance to students in need, including fee waivers or installment payment options. I personally benefited from this support during my second year, which eased the financial burden. Also, the institute's leniency towards late fee submissions is commendable, providing relief to students facing financial constraints. The infrastructure is not too extravagant but quite decent with all the basic amenities needed for academic purposes. The course curriculum is also pretty comprehensive, striking a balance between theoretical knowledge and practical applications. However, I believe there is still room for improvement in terms of job opportunities for non-CS/IT students. In addition, I would want the campus life to be more wholesome and enjoyable for the students. All in all, for students seeking a college with decent campus life, proximity to home, and promising placement opportunities, GTBIT is a viable option.
